Morocco Film Incentives: Plan for the 30% Cash Rebate
Morocco offers financial support for qualifying foreign productions. Build eligibility checks, local spending records and application preparation into your budget before the shoot.
Who can qualify?
The CCM scheme provides 30% support on eligible expenses for qualifying feature films, television productions, documentaries and specified longform fiction. The published thresholds include at least 10 million MAD in Moroccan spending and 18 workdays, including set construction. Eligibility depends on production type and the full programme rules; commercials and corporate films do not qualify under the current guide.
Prepare the application before production
Confirm the applicable requirements with the Centre Cinématographique Marocain before committing to a rebate-dependent budget. Approval is subject to the scheme’s conditions and available funding. Keep a clear production schedule, Moroccan budget and supporting expense documentation.
Read the official CCM financial support rules and check the current guidance for your project.
